ABOUT US

OPT for Success was created by trainers and consultants whose ministry in church and church-related offices has revealed the great need for training for those who serve as ministry support professionals. Each member of this group has years of experience in ministry office support and in training other ministry support professionals. We have now joined our individual efforts into a collective source of training and motivation for our peers.

Jane serves as church Executive/Discipleship Pastor at Crossroads Community Church in Elmore, Alabama, where she has been on staff for over 30 years. Her areas of responsibilities include managing the business affairs of the church, coordinating the work of committees, serving as office manager and staff liaison for Women's Ministry, and assisting with pastoral duties. She teaches with enthusiasm and conviction because she believes strongly in the importance of the work of ministry support professionals.

Sandra's professional career spans over 40 years of government, corporate, and ministry office experience. She served 16 years as the ministry assistant specialist for LifeWay Church Resources where she developed training materials for ministry support professionals in addition to training and supervising other trainers. Her training style is vibrant and down-to-earth using her sense of humor and skill at storytelling to make training interesting. She encourages the use of today's technology while embracing the integrity of time-honored customer service and office skills that empower church and church-related offices to positively impact those they support and serve.
